Oakley is just weeks away from being officially “paw-roled” from our Paws in the Pen program—our extra-special partnership with the New Mexico Corrections Department that turns good dogs into great dogs. For 8 merry weeks, Oakley has been paired with two dedicated inmate trainers, learning the ropes of good manners and holiday-worthy behavior. Oakley is a 1 year, 8 month old handsome holiday showstopper with a stunning red coat that could be matchy-matchy with Santa himself. He’s bursting with energy, personality, and joie de vivre. Toys are his love language, playtime is his passion, and wherever he goes, joy follows like tinsel. One of Oakley’s most endearing quirks? A hilarious fascination with shoes… especially when they’re still on your feet. Consider it his way of saying, “Let’s go somewhere fun!” Sweet, spirited, and brimming with potential, Oakley is ready to trade his training days for cozy nights, joyful adventures, and a family to call his own. With the right home, this festive fellow won’t just shine—he’ll sparkle! Apply on our website to schedule a meetup. Mama Bella is a lovely 1-year-old buff tabby with a warm personality to match her coloring. After raising her kittens, Sunny and Lucy, Mama Bella is ready to be the one doted on. She’s affectionate, people-loving, and quick to share purrs and gentle head bumps. Mama Bella does well with other cats and would make a wonderful companion for a calm, loving home. Now that her mom duties are done, she’s looking forward to a life filled with comfort, connection, and companionship.
