Jito is a bit of a sour-patch kid, meaning he reels you in by being incredibly loving and inviting, but when he’s had enough, he’ll hiss so you can give him his space! Jito has been roaming the Española Humane’s offices for the past two weeks because the staff all adore him – they understand his boundaries (and could probably learn a thing or two from him about establishing their own). Staff give him all the love he’s willing to accept before he draws a line in the sand, and they respect his wishes. Jito is an 8 lb., 2-year-old tabby who will go to his forever home neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is a great cat who just needs someone who listens to him. He is comforting and loves to be comforted – his favorite thing in the world is to be held like a baby, and he loves naps.
