Eloise the Extraordinary! This tortoiseshell bombshell is more than just goddess gorgeous: she’s one of the most resilient cats we’ve ever met. Eloise was found nearly lifeless by a Good Samaritan after being hit by a car. X-rays revealed both her pregnant uterus and abdominal wall had completely herniated. Her kittens were too young to survive, and the internal damage was so severe, we weren’t sure she would make it through surgery to quilt her back together. But thanks to surgical skills, and a little bit of magic in the universe, Miss Eloise defied every odd. She not only survived, but she’s thriving. Though the trauma has caused her to have a little hitch in the hind end, it doesn’t bother her at all, and her purr motor doesn’t have an off switch!
