Doc has an upside-down smile and a heart that’s all right-side up. This big pawed 1-year-old Boxer softie is still figuring out the world, but he’s already mastered the art of cuddling: he’s a 60lb bubba who thinks he’s a little lap dog. Doc walks politely on a leash and offers a gentlemanly sit and shake, but his true specialty is spreading love in extra-large doses. He’s looking for a kind, patient family to help him grow in confidence—and maybe share a couch (or a lap). Doc goes home neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and with 6 months of free heartworm prevention. Española Humane is open to walk-in adopters 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday at 108 Hamm Parkway in Española. Visit www.espanolahumane.org. Courtesy/EH
Francine is a tiny tuxie, and while still just a wee whiskered wonder, her personality already fills the room—curious as a detective, playful as a puff of glitter, and snuggly as a warm blanket on a rainy day. Francine adores exploring new corners, curling up for cozy naps, and performing her irresistible kitten shenanigans on command. She goes home spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
