Blue is a handsome heartthrob and professional toy collector. This 64-pound pittie believes no journey should be taken empty-mouthed. Walk? Toy. Bedtime? Toy. Meeting new friends? Definitely toy. He proudly carries his treasures everywhere he goes like a little kid showing off a favorite stuffed animal.

Beneath all that charm is a hunkachunka meatloaf of a dog with an enormous heart. Blue loves his toys, adores his people, and occasionally forgets he’s not actually a lap dog. His goofy personality and sweet nature make him impossible not to love.

Blue is currently learning house, crate, and leash skills through our Fosters in the Pen program at the Penitentiary of New Mexico, where daily training and enrichment are helping him shine. He has left his rough days behind, and now he just needs a family who appreciates a loyal sidekick that always brings a toy to the party.
