PEEC News:

Starting today, July 5, the Pajarito Environmental Education Center’s (PEEC) popular Nature Playtimes will resume.

Nature Playtimes meet 10-11 a.m. every Monday outside the Los Alamos Nature Center. The program provides an opportunity for toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers to come to the nature center and explore the natural world with PEEC’s educators.

Each Playtime features a craft, story and outside activity. Come join the fun outside with other local parents and children. Thanks to the LANL Foundation for funding this program. 

Nature Playtime is an all-outdoor program and will be canceled in case of inclement weather. All attendees ages 3 and up who are not fully vaccinated must wear a mask. PEEC encourages frequent hand washing and asks participants to save their snacks until after the program. All participants are required to sign in when arriving at this event.
