PEEC News:
The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is excited to announce the return of its popular Nature Playtime program beginning at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 4, at Los Alamos Nature Center. This free, weekly program is designed for toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers to explore the natural world through play, creativity, and discovery.
Led by PEEC educator Izza, each session includes a nature-themed craft, story, and outdoor activity. Nature Playtime offers a welcoming space for young children to connect with nature while socializing with other families in the community.
Nature Playtime will take place every Monday from 10 to 11 AM, excluding holidays. No registration is required, and all activities are free. Families are encouraged to dress for outdoor play and come ready to have fun in nature.
Weather Policy: Nature Playtime will be canceled on Mondays when Los Alamos Public Schools have a weather-related delay or closure.
