Celebrate Shark Week by watching “Sharknado 2: The Second One” in the Los Alamos Nature Center’s planetarium Thursday, July 26.
This event is part of the nature center’s summer movie and beer night series “Suds & Shows.” Doors will open at 6 p.m.and beer and wine will be available from Pajarito Brewpub at a cash bar. The movie will start at 7 p.m. in the planetarium.
Bring a picnic dinner, buy drinks and enjoy spending time at the nature center before the movie. Movie tickets are $5 per person and drinks will be available for purchase.
“Sharknado 2” is a sci-fi comedy disaster film that came out in 2014. It is the second installment in the “Sharknado” film series. After “Sharknado 2,” there will be two more “Suds & Shows” movies at the nature center this summer. Aug. 9, PEEC will show “Spaceballs” and the final movie will be “Top Gun” Aug. 23. Pajarito Brewpub will be at each movie serving drinks.
Because there is have limited seating in the planetarium, please purchase your tickets in advance. Tickets may be purchased by visiting or calling the Los Alamos Nature Center (505.662.0460).
