PEEC News:
PEEC will be accepting applications for board members to start in October of 2024. Board members come from various backgrounds and share skills in law, human resources, policies, fundraising, finance, and strategic planning and use their talents to grow the organization of PEEC.
Board member terms are for two years and can be renewed three times for a total of six years. PEEC board members are active in the organization, approving a yearly budget, reviewing strategic plans and goals, and adopting policies. Board meetings are held at 6:15 p.m. on the second Monday of the month – and are in an in-person and live-streamed hybrid format.
Board membership might include volunteering on committees, attending monthly board meetings, and helping at events like Earth Day, Bear Fest, and PEEC-NIC. In return, you get to work with a variety of people who love nature and be part of shaping the future of PEEC.
Anyone interested in becoming a PEEC board member is welcome to visit a board meeting or fill out the application through the following link, https://forms.gle/BsefsDTMFLmWD49N6
