Pajarito Environmental Education Center’s updated fractal show is back for one evening: at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26. This show incorporates math, science, art and nature in a full-dome planetarium show featuring original music.

Sea Monsters is a film that uncovers a time when prehistoric sea creatures come to life, will play in the planetarium at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, The film follows fossil hunters to remote locations as the hunters excavate the remains of some of the most awe-inspiring creatures of all time.

The Los Alamos Nature Center will be open regular hours this month 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday. The nature center is is open until 8 p.m. Tuesdays and closed Thursdays for regular maintenance.
