PEEC Hosts Free Screening Of Common Ground, Award‐Winning Documentary On Regenerative Agriculture Feb. 5

PEEC News:

The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) invites the community to a free screening of Common Ground, an award‐winning documentary that explores the future of farming through the lens of regenerative agriculture. The event will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. MT, Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, and is proudly sponsored by the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities.

Common Ground is the highly anticipated follow‐up to the acclaimed film Kiss the Ground. Through powerful storytelling and firsthand accounts, the documentary examines how America’s food system contributes to climate change and environmental decline—and how farmers across the country are pioneering regenerative practices that rebuild soil health, sequester carbon, and restore ecological balance.

Featuring appearances by Laura Dern, Rosario Dawson, Ian Somerhalder, Woody Harrelson, Jason Momoa, and other well‐known voices, the film offers both a clear-eyed look at the challenges facing modern agriculture and an inspiring vision of what is possible when communities and growers work together to transform the way we produce food.
