PEEC News:

Join the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) and Los Alamos County Library for a Summer Family Evening, 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 23 at the Los Alamos Nature Center, 2600 Canyon Road.

Gather outdoors at the nature center to read the book “Sun” by Alison Oliver and make sun weavings. Thanks to the Del Norte LOV Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Del Norte Credit Union, for sponsoring Summer Family Evenings in 2021.

Advance registration is not required for this program, but PEEC and the Library will have two separate sessions and start times to spread out the group.

The first session is 6-7 p.m. and the second is 6:30-7:30 p.m. and all participants will get to read a story and make a craft.

Summer Family Evenings take place Wednesdays in June and July. This summer, some programs will be hosted virtually via Zoom and others in person at the Los Alamos Nature Center.
