COUNTY News:
The public parking lot at the corner of Trinity Drive and 20th Street, on the southeast corner of Ashly Pond Park will be closed effective Monday, March 2.
The Teen Center Remodel contractor, R&M Construction, will be using this parking lot as a staging area while the community building is remodeled. Toward the end of the remodel project, this parking lot will be reconfigured and reconstructed. The parking lot should reopen in September 2015. During this closure, motorists will need to use alternate public parking such as the Library overflow parking lot or the Justice Center parking lot.
In the interim, note that the United States Post Office mailboxes as well as the UPS drop box in this parking lot will be relocated on or before March 13. The temporary location will be on the north side of Deacon Street between 20th Street and 15th Street, near the current dumpsters, just south and east of El Parasol. Access will continue to be provided at the current location until the mailboxes are moved.
