Palestine Activism Program: Yousef Aljamal. 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10 at SALA.
- Aljamal is the Gaza coordinator at the Palestine Activism Program with American Friends Service Committee (AFSC). He is a Palestinian refugee whose family has lived in Al-Nusierat camp in Gaza since 1948. Yousef recently received his PhD at the Middle East Institute at Sakarya University in Turkey. https://afsc.org/profile/yousef.
Hand-in-Hand School with Lee Gordon. 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at SALA.
- Hand in Hand is the only integrated school (Israeli Jews and Arabs) in Israel. Starting with only 50 children, Hand in Hand now operates six campuses, serving thousands of Jewish and Arab students.
