Pajarito Mountain Ski Area is making snow and will continue to do so until its Dec. 16 opening date. According to Manager Tom Long, the temperatures are cooperating but Mother Nature hasn’t done her part with providing snow. Long said 1.6 million gallons of water from the snow-making water pond is being used judiciously so as to have coverage for a run from top to bottom, the beginner area and the new Magic Carpet area.
