Pajarito Pickleball Club Beginners Skills Clinic April 19

SPORTS News:

The Pajarito Pickleball Club will be hosting a skills clinic for beginners from 1-3 p.m., Sunday, April 19. This is an excellent opportunity for absolute beginners or those new to the game to learn a warmup to prepare for play and prevent injuries, basic skills and shots, and the foundational rules and strategies of the game.

The clinic will be led by certified instructors Scott Parkinson and Kristine Coblentz. No experience is necessary to join. Loaner paddles will be available upon request. Space is limited, so it is recommended to register early.

The clinic will be held at the Los Alamos High School Aux Gym at 1300 Diamond Drive. Directions: Enter the school parking lot from Canyon Road and park just past Griffith Gym. Follow the sidewalk and the stairs down toward the Aux Gym entrance just north of Griffith.

Participants should dress in comfortable clothing, wear court shoes if possible, and bring a water bottle. Fruit and sports drinks will be provided. The cost is $15 for club members and $25 for non-members. Registration is open at http://pajaritopickleballclub.org.
