Pajarito opens this Saturday, Jan. 21.
With more than two feet of snow over the past week, Mother Nature finally showed up, and the mountain conditions are incredible. The mountain will be open Saturday and Sunday and Friday-Sunday next week.
Officials will be evaluating options for opening more during the week in the coming days.
The mountain operations team has worked tirelessly to get the slopes ready, and have been hiring as quickly as possible to become fully staffed this season.
Some details on opening day:
- Lifts will spin 9 a.m. -4 p.m., with the conveyor, beginner lift and Aspen lift open. Check the snow report for details on trails and lifts;
- There will be no rentals or ski school available Saturday. Both will be available Sunday, and throughout the rest of the season. Please purchase your lift tickets in advance by clicking the link below, and if you plan to come Sunday, please reserve your rentals and lessons online in advance;
- The cafe will be operating with a limited menu, with breakfast and lunch 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
