Pajarito Mountain Ski Area has received nearly 20” of snow from the storms hitting New Mexico and is poised to open soon.

The mountain is urgently hiring. 

Pajarito will host a job fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Friday, Jan. 20 in the Pajarito Mountain Lodge.

Job seekers also may apply online immediately. The mountain is offering drop-in interviews and hiring on the spot throughout this week. Job seekers should check in 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the retail store.

The mountain is hiring for positions in lift operations, rentals, retail and food and beverage.

“The mountain is ready, we just need people,” Pajarito General Manager Tom Long said. “If we can get staffed up, we can get open.”
