PAJARITO News:

Pajarito will not be conducting operations this summer due to ongoing COVID-19 capacity restrictions and concerns about being able to cover costs due to these restrictions.

This includes the resorts’ chairlift operations for hiking and downhill mountain biking, as well as the Pajarito Mountain Cafe and retail store. 

“We are disappointed to not be able to offer mountain biking and our usual activities,” Pajarito General Manager Tom Long said. “However, even while our facilities are closed, we welcome the community to enjoy hiking, biking, running and sightseeing on the mountain.” 

The resort plans to open for winter activities Friday, Nov. 27.

“We are actively planning for ski season, while making contingency adjustments in our operations for COVID-19,” Long said. “We are working through the customer and employee experience from the ticket office to the lift to evaluate touch points and adjust accordingly.”
