PAJARITO News:
Pajarito Mountain kicks off the summer season May 12 with a very special brunch for Mother’s Day, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the cafe.
On the menu:
- Hearty Breakfast plates
- Spicy Breakfast Burritos
- Down Home Biscuits and Gravy
- Luscious Strawberry Cheesecake French toast
- Sweet Blueberry Pancakes
- Gourmet Quiche
The following weekend the cafe will open for the summer May 18. The downhill mountain bike park will open June 1 with the annual Summerfest party on the hill.
The Pajarito Mountain Cafe is expanding its hours for a longer lunch on weekdays, dinner on Saturdays, and brunch and an ice cream sundae bar on Sundays.
Pajarito Mountain Cafe Summer Hours:
- Wednesday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. BBQ and music on the deck 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with Sunday Brunch and ice cream on the deck.
The cafe is implementing other improvements including a buffet to expedite busy lunch guests, and an improved grab and go area for quick deli meals on the go.
Located a quick drive from Los Alamos or the lab, the cafe features a large sun deck overlooking the mountain and views of the Rio Grande valley. The menu features traditional New Mexican food, gourmet burgers, sandwiches, and more.
