Staff report:

The popular Pajarito Mountain Beer and Band is back! The next event will be held noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Pajarito Mountain Ski Area.

The beer will be offered by the Santa Fe Brewing Company and from 3-5 p.m., the Squash Blossom Boys from Albuquerque will provide the music.

Atomic City Transit is providing a new bus service to Pajarito Mountain with the last bus going down Saturday at 5:20 p.m. so people can enjoy the show and get a ride home.

Beginning as a garage rock band, the Squash Blossom Boys from Albuquerque have played everything from jazz to reggae, only to finally become a Bluegrass band.

The ensemble characterizes a new generation that does not define itself according to any one given style, movement, or genre of music.

Influenced by the grunge rock of their youth, the virtuosity of Jazz music, and the finely tuned craftsmanship of acoustic instruments, the Boys retrofit Bluegrass to a multitude of inspiration.

Enjoy suds, snow and sounds this Saturday.
