Saturday, Oct. 26, four medical professionals familiar with the ever-changing landscape of prostate cancer will speak at the 13th annual state conference of the Prostate Cancer Support Association of New Mexico (PCSANM).

New Mexico Activities Association Board Appoints Dusty Young Next Executive Director

The New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA) Board of Directors voted on Thursday to name Dusty Young the next NMAA Executive Director.
He will fill the position left by Sally Marquez, who recently announced her retirement. Young will begin his position as NMAA Executive Director on Nov. 1. He has been in the role of NMAA Associate Director since 2012.

A bull elk is defined by the number of points it produces, called “tines”. An elk with a total of 12 antler points (6×6 or 6-point) is called a ‘“royal” bull; one with 14 points (7X7 or 7-point) is an “imperial”, and one with 16 points (8X8 or 8-point) is a “monarch”.

New Mexico Supreme Court Rules On Evidence Required To Prove Child Neglect

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Supreme Court (NMSC) has issued an opinion clarifying the evidence necessary to prove child neglect under New Mexico law.
In a unanimous opinion, the justices reversed decisions of a Bernalillo County district court and the Court of Appeals that found a child to be neglected. The Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) had taken custody of the young boy.
