PAC 8’s Spring Fundraiser Has Begun!

PAC 8 News:

PAC 8’s spring fundraiser, an on-line auction has begun.

PAC 8 thanks the local businesses for the large assortment of generous donations. Auction items include a $250 wine dinner from Pig & Fig, 2 tickets to an O’Keeffe landscape tour at Ghost Ranch, lift tickets to Pajarito Mountain, 2 bags of “everything Oppie” from the Los Alamos Historical Society and a box full of bagged, jarred and packaged foods grown by local writer Liddie Martinez along with her autographed cookbook. There also is jewelry, puzzles, gift certificates and even a sitting fairy from Petree Garden Center & Florist. 

PAC 8 is a non-profit organization and community media center. The money raised by this auction will go to scholarships for students, PAC 8 Internships and other worthy programs.

To bid on an item, email bids to pac8@losalamos.com. Include your name, phone number, what you are bidding on, the amount of your bid and your bidding name. Every day during the auction the highest bids will be posted on the website including the amount and bidder’s bidding name. Bidders will be notified of their winning bid by email. Items can be picked up at PAC 8 by appointment. PAC 8 takes checks, cash and credit cards.

President’s Challenge 

PAC 8 Board of Directors President Dave Schiferl will match each dollar donated to PAC 8 with one of his own, up to $600. Your donations totaling $600 will give $1,200 to PAC 8. Schiferl’s offer does not apply to bids, only to outright donations to PAC 8. Donate by emailing Jean Gindreau at  pac8@losalamos.com during the auction.
