PAC 8 Holds On-Line Fundraiser Auction

PAC 8 News:

 

PAC 8, your local TV station and community media center is holding an on-line auction. Get a jump on your holiday shopping. You’ll find some great deals! Bidding is in progress now and ends Dec. 10.

 

It’s easy, fast and fun. Just go to www.pac8fundraiser.com. Register and start bidding. We have many donations from local businesses and a few from Santa Fe, too. We have artwork, gift certificates from restaurants, gift cards, a robotic vacuum cleaner, Pajarito Mountain Ski passes, a one hour gig from the Hillstompers and much, much more. You can get all of your holiday gifts without leaving the house.

 

Did you know …?

  • PAC 8 has a total annual budget of less than $125,000? This includes everything – scholarships for kids, salaries, video production equipment, insurance and more. PAC 8 knows how to stretch those dollars.
  • PAC 8 Board of Directors are unpaid volunteers, in fact many contribute funds to help support the station.
  • PAC 8 scholarships have been invaluable for getting kids started in video production.
  • PAC 8 was the first step for students who went on to successful careers in video and television. Former PAC 8 students now have successful careers in Hollywood , Denver, Albuquerque and Portland and one worked on a Harry Potter film.

 

President’s Challenge

 

PAC 8 Board President Dave Schiferl will match each dollar donated to PAC 8 with one of his own, up to $300. Your donations totaling $300 will give $600 to PAC 8. Dave’s offer does not apply to bids, only outright donations to PAC 8. You can find the President’s Challenge on the home page of the auction at pac8fundraiser.com.
