P&Z News:
The Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. today in Council Chambers in the Municipal Building at 1000 Central Ave.
Public hearings on the agenda include:
- Approval of a Special Use Permit for a “Dog Day Care” at 127 East Gate Dr., Suite #114 in East Gate Park.
- Approval of a Special Use Permit to operate an Assisted Living Facility at 106 Longview Dr., (new address 110 Longview), in Sherwood Village Office Park in White Rock.
- Approval of a Site Plan to construct and operate the Assisted Living Facility in White Rock.

NOTE: Any action by the Planning and Zoning Commission in granting approval, conditional approval or disapproval of an application may be appealed by the applicant or by persons who have a personal or pecuniary interest adversely affected by the decision as defined by Section 16-454 of the County Code. Such appeals must be filed with the Community Development Department within 15 days of the action in accordance with Section 16-492.
Also on tonight’s agenda is the election of chair and vice chair of the P&Z Commission. Members include:
