Oscar Mayer Wienermobile Is In Town

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile just pulled into Los Alamos from Albuquerque and stopped to visit the news team at the Los Alamos Daily Post headquarters on Central Avenue. The Wienermobile crew are recent college graduates who get to travel around the country visiting events for one year before turning the job over to the next team of graduates. Ryn Herrmann, center, is the marketing manager for the Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation. She stopped by the newspaper and posed with the Wienermobile crew. The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is heading to the annual Pumpkin Glow event on the lawn at Fuller Lodge where they will greet community members and hand out weenie whistles until 8 p.m., before returning to Albuquerque.
