Ode To White Rock And Los Alamos

By PETR JANDACEK
White Rock
       Jemez Mountain Salamander 🦎
Looks down upon our Humankind.
      And Pajarito birdies Humm on
‘Cause they know not lyrics rhymed.
     Teilhardinas Northern – Southern
Primates with like Tarsier hands  🖐️🤚
     Lived nearby in ancient epochs
In Thermal Maxims Climate’s  lands.
     Keres and our Tewa Neighbors
Farmed the mesas far and near
Martians, Earthlings from Third Reich Lands
Came with science and… good beer 🍺🍻 !
      Spanish orchards, vinyards, pastures
and the Boys’ School’s Lodge and lands
Gave way to nukes and young codgers
for the Country’s 🇺🇸 war demands 💣💣
Happiest is the town of White Rock
where friends and neighbors  help and call
       Atomic City’s  “BAJA  NEIGH-BRRs” 🐎
With lovely sewerage  Waterfall.   💦😀
Celebrating our communities’ exceptional lifestyle:
1.   A very rare creature JEMEZ MOUNTAIN SALAMANDER 🦎 is perhaps a climate change “canary in the mine”.
2.  Pajarito Plateau is named after our HUMMING BIRDS.
3.  TEILHARDINA: EARLIEST Human-like Primate with dry nose – unlike lemurs. 56 million  years ago in Wyoming and Mississippi.
4.   Local  FIRST NATIONS.
5.   Spanish crown lands 👑
6.   European and American Scientists…
     Hungarians were called “Martians!”   👽
7.    Happiest Little Town in America 🇺🇸👍
8.   And…even our sewerage water- cleaned – ends as a BEAUTIFUL WATERFALL 💦
