VIRGINIA “GINGER” RICHINS Jan. 6, 2015

Virginia “Ginger” Richins, 84, a resident of Duncan Arizona, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ward Richins; son, Frank Edwards; brother, Rowan Willis; parents, Frank and Frances Willis. Ginger loved horse related activities and was active in the Cowbells club for most of her life. She enjoyed her kids and grandchildren in their many activities. Ginger was known for loving a good game of cards. Those who knew her became friends quickly and loved her sense of humor and kindness.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Richins and wife Joyce of Los Alamos, New Mexico, Ron Cotton and wife Pam of Wilcox, AZ; stepchildren, Gerald Richins and wife Dian, Bob Richins, Dean Richins and wife Judy, Steve Richins and wife Sheree, Marilyn Clawson and husband Lloyd; niece and nephew, Linda and Dick Willis; special friends, Carol Carrell, Norma Davis, Janette Tyler, Pearl Willis; most recent husband, Garth Lunt; grandchildren Bryanna, Tyree, Travis, and Aliya of Los Alamos as well as other grandchildren Chris, Jed, Dallas, Danny, DaeLynn, Doyle, Arina, Clancy, Jamie, Chanda, Marlie, Jennifer, Shelly, April, Nicolle.  These loved ones and many other family and friends had a very special place in her heart.

Ginger will be loved and missed by many people in New Mexico and her hometown area of Duncan, Arizona. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Duncan AZ Stake Center, Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
