VIRGINIA DELORES DURMAJ PRENZNO Feb. 15, 2014

Virginia “Gini” Delores Durmaj Prenzno, 86, of Great Falls, Mont., passed away Feb. 15, 2014 following a brief illness.

Born and raised in Chicago, Ill., it is where she met, fell in love and married Richard Durmaj. Together, they raised a family and in 1966, moved to Los Alamos, NM where she managed a gift shop and worked as a secretary at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

In the late 70’s, they made the move to Phoenix, Ariz., to be closer to family. Following Richard’s death in 1983, she lived alone in Scottsdale, Ariz., until 1993, when she met and married James Prenzno. After his passing in 2001, she continued to live in Scottsdale until 2008, when she moved to Great Falls, Mont.

Gini enjoyed to shop, read, watch QVC, and talk on the phone. Her weekly highlights where spending time with her caregivers, Sheila Carroll and Martina Weber.

She is survived by her son Rick Durmaj (Julia) Palisades, Colo.; granddaughter Kathleen Blomker (Thomas) Great Falls, Mont.; an additional six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Step brothers/sisters Ronald Crowson, Roger Crowson, Barbara Ainsworth and Carole Cotton; stepson, John Prenzno and stepdaughter Dian Wheeler (Bill).

She is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, first husband Richard, infant son, daughter Judith, second husband James and several close friends.
