THERESA (TERI) DALY July 12, 1960 – April 14, 2022

April 14, 2022, Theresa (Teri) Daly, at the age of 61 passed away while on vacation in India.

Teri was born July 12, 1960; to Robert and Olivia Baca. She worked for Los Alamos National Laboratory for 25 years and had degrees from ITT institute and the University of New Mexico.

She raised a son and a daughter, Chris and Melanie. Teri was a very dedicated member of The Society for Creative Anachronism and was very active in the group. As such, She developed and was very adapt at a number of skills. She was an excellent researcher and cook of Medieval and ancient cooking recipes and techniques, Often running Demos of these at renaissance fairs and various events. She was an excellent seamstress and made everything from elaborate Gowns to Leather armors. Not only that, but she made her own jewelry and was a certified Gemologist. She was an avid Traveler and took many trips all over the world. She had a very active social life and many unique and interesting hobbies which are too many to list here.

Teri is preceded into death by parents Robert and Olivia, Sister Cynthia, brother Greg, and Nephews Joey and Justin.

She is survived by Children, son Chris, Daughter Melanie, brother Steve, cousins, nieces, and a nephew.

The Memorial will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 8 at North Mesa Picnic Grounds. The service will be simple and small and SCA-themed, meaning Medieval Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged. A Facebook live event has been created for those who are unable to physically attend but wish to watch.
