Robert E. Luders died at home peacefully April 25, 2019 surrounded by children.

 

He was born in 1923; spending his childhood in Kelseyville, California. He came to Los Alamos during WWII where he worked with war dogs and pulled a lot of guard duty, eventually becoming building manager at P-9. 

 

Robert moved to La Cueva in the mid-60’s and to SE Alaska in 2015. 

 

Robert is survived by his wife, Connie Darnell; daughter Rosemary and husband Max Kelly; son Rick Luders and wife Margaret and many grand and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Charles.
