Rebecca Elizabeth Richerson-Farris, 50, a resident of Los Alamos, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by brother, Jeffery, whom she adored.

Rebecca was born on March 25, 1964 to Howard and Carmen Richerson, she is the youngest of four children. She devoted her life to rescuing wolves and owned several throughout the years. She loved and cared for all animals and gave a home to any animal in need of one. Rebecca was always available to assist anyone, day or night. She successfully owned and operated her Business “Dutiful Doggies” for over 15 years. She was loved and admired by her entire family and will be deeply missed by all.

Rebecca is survived by her parents, Howard and Carmen Richerson; sister, Nancy Dean and Husband Curtis, brother, Randy and wife Terri; nieces, Cynthia Gray, Valerie Richerson, Sabrina Candelaria and Jennifer Richerson; nephews, Michael Miera (Amy), Christopher Richerson (LeAnn), and Vincent Richerson (Pam), Several great nieces and great nephews.

Public visitation will begin Tuesday February 3, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a mass of Christina burial to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Guaje Pines Cemetery in Los Alamos.
