PRISCILLA M. PACHECO Dec. 15, 1939 – Nov. 10, 2023
Priscilla M. Pacheco departed peacefully Nov. 10, 2023, surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of her home.
Born in Santa Fe, Dec. 15, 1939, Priscilla, along with her husband Danny Pacheco, raised their family in Los Alamos, NM. A dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Priscilla was known for her kindness and caring nature, with a smile that could light up any room. Her absence will be felt deeply by all who knew and loved her.
Priscilla’s affection for children earned her the endearing title of neighborhood mom. She was known for offering treats and delicious baked goods to the local kids. She dedicated most of her career to working with preschool children as an assistant teacher and a devoted nanny.
Preceding her in death are her father, Seferino Martinez; mother, Amelia B Martinez; the father of her children, Danny Pacheco; her son, Alfonso Pacheco; son-in-law, Glen Barber; and her brother, Deacon Robert Martinez.
Priscilla is survived by her eldest daughter, Annette Barber; daughter Linda Bettini (Mauro); youngest son, Danny Pacheco (Davelle); and numerous cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services honoring her life will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Santa Fe at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, followed by interment at Rosario Cemetery. A Life Celebration will follow to commemorate the joyous moments shared with Priscilla.
