PAUL R. CROWE III Jan. 19, 1959 – Aug. 9, 2023

Paul R. Crowe III, age 64, a long-time resident of Las Cruces, passed away fighting Esophagus Cancer on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

Paul was born to Paul R. Crowe II and Evelyn (La Roche) Crowe in Wheeling, West Virginia on January 19, 1959. Paul lived in different places around the country like so many military families. The family settled in Las Cruces, New Mexico in 1972 and he graduated from Mayfield high in 1977. 

After finishing High School he moved to Ohio and worked in the coal mines. He then decided to serve his country in the US Army with a stint in Germany. He moved back to Las Cruces where he met his life partner and love of his life Anita Kay Hammer. They married on August 29, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He spent the rest of his life living, working and enjoying life in Las Cruces. Nita and Paul were inseparable and were currently enjoying retirement when he was diagnosed with cancer.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother (Evelyn), Father (Paul II) and Brother (Jim).  He was a devoted husband is survived by his wife Anita (Hammer). He is also survived by his mother-in-law Harriet Hammer; brother-in-laws Bruce Fritz, Mike Hammer (Brenda Lobato and Richard Hammer (Julia Solano); Nieces and nephews  Alicia Storer, Christain Storer, Angie Giron and Jesse Giron; Aunt Lois; Cousins Jim Crowe, Jay Crowe, Jeff Crow, and John Crowe.

He loved his family and friends, he will be greatly missed! Go Buckeyes!

There will be no memorial service.
