Patricia Ann Bass Barr Sept. 17, 1955 – Nov. 21, 2014

Patricia Ann Bass Barr passed away on Nov. 21, 2014. She was 59 and had been struggling with liver disease. Patricia was born in Columbia, Tenn. on Sept. 17, 1955 to Charles and Wilma Bass.

She attended school in Columbia, TN and graduated high school 1973.  She attended David Lipscomb College and graduated with a degree in accounting in 1977. Patricia met and married Stuart Bowling in 1983 and moved west to Los Alamos, N.M.  There she found employment with Los Alamos County where she worked until her retirement in 2009.

She and Stuart had a child, Charles Bryson in 1989. She and Stuart divorced in 1997. She met Jeff Barr in 1998 and they were married in 2003. Upon her retirement she and Jeff moved to Sheboygan, Wis. to be closer to their families in Tennessee and Iowa.

Patricia enjoyed traveling this beautiful country and was especially fond of the Grand Canyon and Niagara Falls. She and Jeff found their way to the Bahamas, Mexico, and most of the 50 states. She enjoyed cooking and was famous for her signature chocolate chip cookies. She also enjoyed golf and fishing. All who met Patricia were taken by her wonderful smile and Southern grace and charm.

Survivors include, her husband Jeff Barr, son Bryson, uncles Bill Walters and Tommy Paysinger, aunt Willa Ruth Sharp, cousins Carol Gordon and her husband Steve, David and Jeff Sharp and their wives Tracy and Rhonda.

A small graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m., Dec. 2 at Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, Tenn., weather permitting. Carr-Erwin Funeral Home of Pulaski has been entrusted with Patricia’s arrangements.
