MARGARET ROSE JESSEL June 19, 1946 – May 3, 2013

Margaret Rose Jessel was born in New York June 19, 1946. She was born with brain damage. As a young girl Margaret moved with her family to Miami, Florida.

She moved to Los Alamos, New Mexico in 1995 to live near her sister Francine J. Mendoza, brother-in-law Paul Mendoza and family.

Margaret loved babies and was pro life. She said, “what if my mother would have aborted me?”

Anything from your heart is welcome to celebrate and honor Margaret’s life. She loved babies, children, people, she loved the Lord and loved to study the Bible and share the Lord. Some ideas; Hope Pregnancy Center, Childhood Evangelism, Young life, child adoption assistance services (she dreamed of having her own children and dreamed of herself being able to adopt), Sombrillo Nursing Home, Las Cumbres Learning Center and their group homes.

Visitation and viewing will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the De Vargas Funeral Home, 623 N. Railroad Ave., Espanola, New Mexico.

Memorial Service is 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at Crossroads Bible Church, 97 East Road, Los Alamos, New Mexico. A reception with lunch will follow immediately in the lower level of Crossroads Bible Church.

There will be a visitation May 15, 2013 at the Funeraria Memorial Plan in Coral Gables at 1 p.m. and burial at Flagler Memorial Park, Miami, Florida at 3 p.m. Margaret will be laid to rest next to her parents, George Joseph Jessel, Antoinette Marie Rotegliano Jessel and Grandfather Isidore Joseph.
