KRYSTI MICHELLE HERNANDEZ Jan. 8, 1971 – March 11, 2021

Krysti Michelle Hernandez, a resident of White Rock, passed away at home on March 11, 2021 after a lengthy illness. She was born on January 8, 1971.

Krysti enjoyed the outdoors including water skiing, jet skiing, downhill snow skiing, horseback riding, camping, and fishing. She was a lover of all animals, especially her beloved cat Wally who preceded her in death two weeks before her passing.

Krysti will be remembered for her beautiful smile and soft and loving heart. She received the sacrament of baptism one week prior to her passing. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Hernandez; maternal grandparents, Mary and David Atwell; paternal grandparents, Jane and Henry Hernandez and cousin, Melanie Hoffman.

Kristi is survived by her mother, Claudia Hernandez; aunts/Godmothers, Kat Hernandez Harris and Dena Edwards; aunts and uncles, Diane and Forest Lyford of Northborough, MA, and Dona and Bobby Monroe of Henrietta, OK; cousins, Jerome Edwards of Santa Fe, Leyla, Monica, and Serenity Sky Romero Galloway, Jennifer Lyford of Arlington, MA, Ryan and Katie Lyford of Arlington, VA, Abby and Lydia Lyford of Arlington, VA, Aaron Odom of Rio Rancho, Aiyana North of Seattle, WA, T.J. North of Seattle, WA, and Kellie, Shelby and Janey Michel all of Los Alamos.

The family would like to thank Reverend Father John Daniel of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, the hospice staff of Los Alamos Visiting Nurses, Destiny Peabody from Ambercare and friends who helped out in our time of need, Cliff Gonzales, Brad Tuning, Eileen Romero and Lori Seitz.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
