KATELYN ROSE PARKER Jan. 17, 1988 – May 11, 2021

Katelyn Rose Parker was found deceased in her home in Leicester, NC on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. She was 33 years old. She received much care from dedicated health professionals over the last several years in the Asheville, NC area.

She was born to Paul Ruston and Patricia Eve (Shane) Parker on January 17, 1988 in Hartford, CT. She grew up in W. Granby, CT, Virginia Beach, VA and the Los Alamos, NM area.

Katelyn was a loving sister to Keith Joseph (Abby) Parker, Rachel Rosemary Duffield (Andy) and Grace “Dovina” Elisabeth Parker (Thomas).

Katelyn was a devoted mother to Troy Jacob Conley and Carlie Rose Parker-Conley (predeceased) and Leon Christopher Young and Cassielyn Bailey Young.

Katelyn will be remembered for her desire to help others in need, her love of nature and creatures of every kind, especially horses, her physical and inner beauty, and most of all, her great love and devotion to her children.

Memorial services were held on Wednesday, May 19th at Western Carolina Mortuary Chapel in Asheville, NC and will be held at 2 pm on Monday, May 24th at Guaje Pines Cemetery in Los Alamos, NM.
