JUDITH (CARROLL) HAMBLETON July 14, 1938 – Aug. 25, 2025

Judy passed away August 25, 2025, after a long battle with dementia. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 14, 1938, to parents Fremont and Carmel Carroll. She spent her childhood years in Ohio and the Pacific Northwest before moving with her family to Los Alamos in 1955. She graduated from Los Alamos High School in 1956.

After high school she moved to California and was part owner of a grocery store chain for many years. After the stores were sold, Judy trained in Interior Design and worked in that field until her retirement. 

Judy is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Tran (Paul), and son, Daryl. She is also survived by her brother, Steve (Annette), grandson, Carson (Val), grandchildren, Quinn and Anderson, nieces, Anna (Adara), Emma (Eric), and sister-in-law, Janice. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David. 

Judy was a kind person who loved her family, friends and kitties. She will be missed by all.
