LUCINDA “LUCY” REBECCA STALLINGS Oct. 3, 1932 – Dec. 15, 2021

James E. Stallings, born Dec. 13, 1928, passed away Jan. 21, 2022, at the age of 93. At the young age of 19 he moved from his birthplace Bee, Oklahoma to Los Alamos. He called Los Alamos “home” for the rest of his long adventurous life.

Lucinda “Lucy” Rebecca Stallings, born Oct. 3, 1932, passed away Dec. 15, 2021, at the age of 89. She was born in Bingham Canyon, Utah and was raised in Santa Fe. In 1950, she met and married the “Love of Her Life”, James E. Stallings.

A Celebration of life memorial service will be held in honor of both James Stallings and Lucy Stallings at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 2 at The First Baptist Church of Los Alamos, 2200 Diamond Drive, with interment at Guaje Pines Cemetery to follow.

The couple is survived by their four children; Sandra Anderson of Sharon, Connecticut; Loretta Jo Finley (Darryl) of Albuquerque; Randy Stallings (Cheryl) of Amarillo, Texas; and Wanda Stanhope (Craig) of Albuquerque. They are also survived by loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and so many loving life-long friends.
