ERNEST ‘BUD’ AGNEW May 7, 1949 – Aug. 24, 2023

Ernest “Bud” Agnew passed away peacefully in his sleep Aug. 24, 2023.

Born May 7, 1949, he was raised in Fort Collins, CO and graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1968.

He continued living throughout Colorado before ultimately settling in Los Alamos, NM. There, he worked for over 30 years as a lineman and supervisor for the Los Alamos County Electric division.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 30 years, June and daughter Cara.

He is survived by his ex-wife Minor; children (and respective spouses) Katie, TJ (Kara), Manuel, Ernest III (Chelsey), and Joe (Meilinn); grandchildren JJ, Cara Shea (Zane), Drew, Logan, Blake, Connor, and Lizzy; and siblings Joe (Susie), Otis (Nancy), Linda, Bill (Kim), Dick (Diana), and Mike (Kathy).

In accordance with his wishes, services are not planned. However, the family requests that anybody with a good story please feel free to share, as he always did love a good fish tale.
