Obituary: Eden Joy Weinbrecht Feb. 12, 2018

EDEN JOY WEINBRECHT Feb. 12, 2018

Eden Joy Weinbrecht, 40, was guided to Heaven by angels Monday, February 12, 2018.

She was a lifelong resident of Los Alamos; the daughter of Kama Michel and John Fredrick Weinbrecht.

Eden was a dedicated employee of Los Alamos National Bank for 19 years where she was promoted to Marketing Coordinator. She was responsible for planning various community events in Los Alamos including ScienceFest, ChamberFest, WinterFest Light Parade and LANB Night of the Gordon’s Summer Concert Series.

Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation was fortunate to have her as a Public Relations Chair and Board member.

If you are reading this, you are most likely amongst the zillions of friends Eden enjoyed so much.  You may have spent time with her laughing, listening to music, watching zombie thrillers, attending social gatherings, and cheering for the Denver Broncos (go John Elway!).

Eden will take many hobbies with her to heaven.  She was an aspiring novelist, artist, golf pro (HA), runner and could throw down on a karaoke mike.  She will always be an amazing “Auntie” to her niece Corin and nephews Brandon and Jaxon.

Eden is survived by her parents, papa Glenn Michel, step-father Bob Dunning, sisters Eve Sahnow (Aaron) and Lia Dunning, grandparents Dr. Robert and Dorothy Carbone, Aunties Kerry Dick (Unkie Scott) and Kim Barrett (John), Uncle Ed (Kathy), cousins Stacey, Chelsea, Matt, Patrick, and Bobby.

Eden will be remembered for her loving care for others and being a trusted friend.  She had infinite faith and love for the Lord.  The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) (www.worldwildlife.org).

Come celebrate her life at noon on Friday, February 16, 2018, at New Beginnings Church, 112 E. Road, Los Alamos, NM 87544.
