CLYDE ANTHONY ‘TONY’ MAHONEY March 25, 1941 – Aug. 24, 2023

Clyde Anthony “Tony” Mahoney was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, March 25, 1941, to Russell and Helen (Reid) Mahoney. He died unexpectedly August 24, 2023. As a young man, he served in the United States Army in Germany as well as several stateside bases. While living in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico, he was able to indulge his passions for hunting and fishing.

Tony, with Patty, finished his life raising cattle on the “Bar2M ranch” in the middle of Torrance County, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Sue, Teresa, and Sharon; the mother of his children, Kay Hodgson; his son, Scott Mahoney and his daughter, Vicki Hogg.

He is survived by his wife, Patty; his aunt, Margaret Oswald (Pete); his grandchildren, Jenna Eberl (Derryck), Tamara Curlis, Chad Mahoney (Amie), Nicole Dorsett (Benny), Kyle Hogg (Amanda) and eight great-grandchildren, Blaine, Tyler, Kellen, Trevor, Jaxson, Henley, Brooklyn and Everly, as well as a daughter of his heart, Denise Isom (Jeff).

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at the Mountainair Methodist Church. Burial of his ashes will take place at the Mountainair Cemetery at a later time. An online guest register is available at www.noblin.com
