ADAM MICHAEL LANG Feb. 6, 1993 – July 22, 2015

Adam Michael Lang passed away on July 22, 2015 in Arcata, CA at the age of 22.

He was born in Albuquerque, NM on February 6th,1993. He moved to Los Alamos in August of 2000. He was an excellent student and graduated from Los Alamos High School in 2011. While attending high school, he participated in LAHS XC and track. Afterwards, he attended UC Davis for 2 ½ years majoring in engineering and then switched to Humboldt State University where he studied botany.

Adam was an avid runner, hiker, skier, gardener, and musician. He embraced nature. He loved the trails of Los Alamos, camping on Caballo Peak, skiing on the hill, hiking in the Redwoods, and visiting Moonstone Beach. He was an explorer at heart. Adam was a self-taught musician and he enjoyed playing guitar, mixing music, and playing crazy train on the piano. Also, he was a health food fanatic, and enjoyed educating others about food.

Adam had just visited his family and friends in Los Alamos and Denver. Adam cherished his friends, and we, his family, would like to thank his friends from Los Alamos and those that looked after Adam while he was away in California.

Adam is survived by his loving parents Michael and Laura, brothers Nathan and Isaiah, grandmothers Alice and Katy, aunts, Linda, Amy, Mona, and Carmen, uncles, Joey, Ron, Ernes, and Dwight, and numerous cousins.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Pajarito Ski Hill Lodge August 29th from 5-7 p.m. with New Mexican refreshments.

In lieu of flowers, enjoy nature, plant a tree or go on a hike or run.
