The community may start the 2022 holiday season with the National Christmas Tree Lighting. This beloved tradition, presented by National Park Foundation (NPF) and National Park Service (NPS), features musical performances and the official lighting of the National Christmas Tree in President’s Park. In partnership with NPF, CBS will broadcast the 2022 ceremony at 8 p.m. (ET) and 9 p.m. (PT) Sunday, Dec. 11 on the CBS Television Network, and have it available to stream live and on demand on cbs.com.
