The Los Alamos Arts Council’s Brown Bag Performances are always free, always entertaining, take a lunch break at the Brown Bag Performance series in Fuller Lodge.
Presenting a wide range of programs, from Beethoven to ballet, opera to jazz, chamber music to bagpipes, these concerts have been entertaining Los Alamos music lovers on their midday breaks since 1973.
Brown Bag Performances connect performers to the community.
Performances are held at noon, usually on the first Wednesday of each month but dates may vary.
For the noon, Nov. 7 Brown Bag, LAAC presents Local Students who will have competed Nov. 2 and 3 in the Professional Music Teachers of New Mexico (PMTNM):

PMTNM Student Programs:
PMTNM has a long tradition of offering the students of PMTNM members a wider musical experience than is ordinarily afforded in private music study.
Our programs encompass competitive as well as non-competitive programs to meet the needs of all our students.
Student Honors Program:
The Student Honors Program is a competitive program for elementary through college age piano, voice, and instrumental students.
Students first compete at the district level. Winners from each district then compete at the PMTNM State Conference in November.
