New Mexico’s favorite sons, the muti-award-winning Nosotros, seamlessly combine Latin rhythms with elements of Rock, Salsa, Jazz, and Cumbia, creating an original sound that is unmistakable. Originally from Las Cruces, Nosotros is now based in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area. They have a near non-stop performance schedule and have been featured on NPR’s Alt Latino; named twice as winners in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Competition; and awarded 13 New Mexico Music Awards including “Lifetime Achievement” (the first and only band to be awarded the honor so far), “Best Latin Song”, “Best Arrangement” and “Producer of the Year”.

Nosotros has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music including Tom Petty, The Black Crowes, Los Lobos, Ozomatli and many more.

They will share the stage with the Santa Fe Symphony Orchestra under the baton of guest conductor Thomas Heuser.

Nosotros is known for its vibrant fusion of rhythms and socially conscious lyrics. The group recently released two new singles and videos: the topical, timely, funky and fun “Mentiras” (featuring Las Cafeteras’ Daniel French) was released in April 2024, in the wake of a tumultuous political climate and presidential voting year. The song came out just as the first criminal trial of former president Donald Trump was getting underway. The song went viral, gaining enough public attention to guarantee its emergence as a powerful anthem that takes a pointed look at political dishonesty. The soulful “#esperanza”, was released May 17, 2024 and is the flip side of “Mentiras”, expressing the desire for hope to go viral even in the most difficult of times. Both songs were produced by Ozomatli’s Raul Pacheco.

The band is in the studio working on even more new music with Pacheco at the helm.
