A stitch in time turns old clothes into beautiful quilts at the Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area (NRGNHA) Hidden Nine Patch Quilting Workshop.
Learn the art of upcycling and creating beautiful quilts from old clothes 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday, April 26, at Los Luceros Historic Site. This special workshop focuses on the Hidden Nine Patch Quilting technique, allowing participants to transform discarded garments into stunning and unique quilts. Whether a beginner quilter or an experienced quilter, this workshop offers a creative and sustainable day of sewing. Participants will also gain knowledge on making T-shirt quilts.
