In Santa Fe, the Boys U10 LAFC White Lasers improved their record to 3-1-1 with a 5-3 win over Santa Fe Johansen. Strong goalie play by Will Borovina, Liam Cunningham and Asher Koh kept the game close, while Eric Mecham and Sammy Brown-Salazar each scored a goal and Cunningham had a hat trick.

In White Rock, the Boys U10 LAFC Green Lasers beat the SF Boukhalfa 7-5 to up their record to 5-0-0. Taelin Stanfield and Max Olso each had a hat trick, and Dhruv Thulasidasan scored one. Will Hamilton played well in goal making several good saves.

In Los Alamos, the Girls U10 LAFC Sutherland Lasers battled hard and earned a 3-2 victory against Santa Fe Lovato. Tirryn Sutherland had two goals and Gala Nelson scored one goal. Solid goal keeping performances were made by Gracie Haagenstad, Gala Nelson and Kailey Thwaits. In Santa Fe, the Girls U10 LAFC Castille Lasers won 6-2 with goals from Isabel Atencio, Margret Steinkamp, and Estella Remilleux. The whole team did a great job of keeping the play on their opponents side for much of the game. Molly Castille and Riley Rheinheimer held their Santa Fe opponents to only 2 goals with some great saves.

The Boys U11/U12 LAFC Strikers faced off against Santa Fe’s U11/U12 Pierce on Saturday at Community Field, where the Strikers dominated play with excellent possession and passing. With multiple shots on goal failing to hit the net, Haiden Jorgenson scored to put his team up 1-0. Unfortunately, the game tied up with an unlucky own-goal from the Strikers. The other LAFC Boys U11/12 team put in a dominant performance and ran out 7-1 winners over SF Hutton/Meyers. The team was very solid at the back and Owen Sapp and Ryan Peterson did a lot of good work in midfield. Peterson scored twice in the second half, with Thor Olso and Armando Inbody also scoring twice. Max Posada scored the pick of the goals with a strong left-foot shoot high into the corner of the goal.

The LAFC U13/14 Co-ed Lightning put up a stellar defensive performance in a tightly contested 1-2 defeat to the SF U15 Marco boys. The back-line of Addy Witt, Irene Aberfelter, Eliana Trujillo, and Kathernie Fanning (with Nyla Lee stepping in) performed admirably in defeat, repeatedly stepping up and challenging for 50/50 balls and minimizing through balls by closing down passing lanes. Strong second half play on the front line from Olivia Bell and Hannah Gram with support from Jennie Gao in the midfield helped create good scoring opportunities in the box. The lone Lightning goal was set up by a nice feed from Gao to Kenneth Inbody to Gram, who finished with a nice touch to the far post from 12 yards out.
