Nominations Open For MADD Heroes

MADD News:

Saturday, Nov. 8, MADD New Mexico, the state’s largest and most active nonprofit dedicated to ending DWI, is holding its annual Honoring Heroes brunch.

This event takes place every year to recognize outstanding law enforcement officers, first responders, judges and regular citizens, who demonstrate a remarkable commitment to MADD’s mission – to end drunk driving, to support the victims of this crime, and to prevent underage drinking.

The event is open to the community, with proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction reinvested into MADD’s victim advocacy and underage drinking prevention programs within our state.

MADD New Mexico is currently accepting nominations for this year’s Heroes. People from across the state are encouraged to make nominations of individuals that are committed to serving their communities, helping people, and saving lives, as it relates to serving victims of DWI and protecting youth from drugs and alcohol.

The nomination form is available on the MADD New Mexico website –https:////www.madd.org/local-offices/nm/events/honoring-heroes.html. Nominations for the 2014 Honoring Heroes event will be accepted through Friday, Sept. 5. Ticket sales for Honoring Heroes will begin in early October.
